you threw me off with the FDR thing

and you just taught me something


Franklin Delano Roosevelt did not support the anti-lynching bill (even though his wife Eleanor tried to persuade him to do so) because he needed the southern vote and did not want to alienate those voters.


I didnt know about this, I am not sure what it has to do with my original comment but thanks for the background info...
