It just helps them down the road, when their bullshit meters get pegged, if they have an awareness of who is acting in good faith, and who is playing games. Though I'll bet they saw that thread--it was a page clicker, and page clickers are money makers in the Internet World.

That alert was just a bridge too far, IMO, and it was all about shutting you up and shutting you out of that thread.

That playing field we were talking about, though, it's a little bit more level up in here!
