You handled it strangely- my first hidden post!!

109. I think i get whats going on and i think it may be time for reflection.

I hear stuff like that all the time and i see it for what it is. Sometimes when people have a friendship with someone it is difficult to see them for what they are. Sometimes its hard to see the negative in ourselves. I will not apologize, for i did nothing wrong but point out the injustice of over noticing what black people do, while being blind to what others do.
I did not expect a pile on from, but i guess i did ask for it by reposting the post.
For the record, Manny admits to the insensitivity of that post, and the insensitivity was racial. Racial insensitivity is racist in my book. If nobody points this out to those who do it, how will they ever know that they are doing anything wrong.
And if they get backed up by other more powerful folks, even though they admit to what they did, what can i do? I can just do me. People that i showed that op to, white folks ( i'm in alaska) also though that it was what i thought it was. But they are younger and much more hip to the times. They have black spouses, kids, friends, and feel personally offended by lets make fun of black people jokes.

I would never pick a minority group and post a thread mocking them. How horrible that those things are seen as okay, but pointing it out is whats really offensive. I'd rather not let this place depress me. I don't like losing respect for people i thought were awesome. So, i will keep myself back here or something between living my life and practicing my spanish.
