(36,912 posts)They use class, and accuse others who discuss other issues of dividing the party.
This accomplishes two things. First it paints a picture that it is we who are the outsiders to our own party and there to disrupt. Second it allows them once again to put the issues of others off. They want theirs and anyone who points to something else, is the enemy, as they feel they need us to solve that issue, but we don't need them to help solve ours. I can't stand this class is the only thing harming us and you saying anything else does is dividing us. It's pure bull shit.
I often wonder if they realize how right wing their arguments sound. What do they think right wingers say about class issues?
People are born rich, they can't help it, what do you expect them to do, give up something?
Why do you think rich people who worked hard have to do anything or even acknowledge these disparities. It's not their fault they have $$.
Your just trying to divide the country along class lines.
We're all equal.
All of this gets down to the same point of a denial of the disparity that exists outside of ones ambition and hard work. Yeah, they see that clearly when it comes to class, but race and gender, eh not so much.
