The principal lived on church land next to the school. They were invested in the children’s education. They mortgaged their farms to send the children to college because education was important to the uplifting of the negro community. In the north not so much. The Unitarian church has stood with black community all through our struggles. We are starting to see we need to handle black business,
Some folks ain’t about us. Black seeds will continue to grow.
