MJ). Feminists speak out and no one cares. We've got Asians getting their posts hidden and non-Americans catch shit regularly and all everyone wants to talk about is how the "rights" of certain posters to post right wing crap has been taken from them.

An older person hears that some old white men are blocking progress (which is a fact so irrefutable that I cannot honestly believe that any moderately intelligent and informed person would try to deny it) and concludes that someone is criticizing all old people in order to create an epic whine fest and receive the subsequent head pats.

The phrase about gored oxes has never been so perfectly displayed. Never mind the truth in bravenak's posts, never mind that everything she's said has been said by black folks a million times over. The ONLY thing that matters is that as an older person, that person felt attacked, TRUTH. BE. DAMNED. And the fact that this person made it clear that they didn't even know the AA forum here EXISTED just really made me lol.
