(34,648 posts)I never even included women in the group i was discussing, so it had nothing to do with her demographic. I was just stating that the support for the president on DU is limited because the groups that support him most heavily are not here in force. Therefore that is why we see the lack of support here while the party as a whole support him. His heaviest support comes from women, youth, minorities and LGBT. I was using the NBC exit polls i found online when writing up my post. And i also observed that a poster said that pro Obama posts on't get as many rec's. I never called her stupid or lazy or anything at all. And i let her know that i had never seen any posts of note from her and was not talking about her and was sorry i hurt her feelings. I do not feel like i deserved a thread trashing me when i had already attempted to explain and she never even replied to my apology, she instead wrote a thread trashing me and saying i called her stupid, old and lazy. That never happened. This did.

139. I am sorry for that truly.
I am sorry you are hurt by my words and i want you to know that i have never seen you post anything harmful or hurtful to me. We all suffer the sins of others in our nation.
The woman's burden. It's a shame really, white women just barely got the right to vote and own themselves and now we lump them in with their former oppressors. I do feel bad that i hurt you.
I just cannot think of another way to express what i see.
I have no idea why that could not be the end of it and why i deserve to have a thread saying i said mean things i never said with all those people jumping in and joining the attack based off if the idea that i had actually said those things. I will make sure to avoid that poster in the future, i can't deal with people who refuse to speak with me and work things out rather than thrash me and make me out to be a racist for stating my opinion on how the country will change for the better based on demographics. Rachel Maddow spent a nice segment discussing this once and it is not new or radical.
Edit: It was totally someone else who said i called her names and i got them mixed up. Eh! So many of them it was hard to keep them straight after a while.
