the three articles about family and friend took days and days, as you can imagine, sizing photos, researching dates and events to avoid too many omissions and mistakes.

The one about my father was the most transformational in the revelations about his public service and his closeness to the development of the federal government's handling of the new Civil Rights initiatives concerning fair and accessible employment.

Dad developed Alzheimer Disease after my mother died in 1998, and we took him with us for the remaining four years of his life. In his most cogent period, he described some pretty dicey moments in his and in others career history. One of the things he was most proud of was his ability and success in hiring 'scores' of blacks into government. He was quite an aggressive man and he was everything that we would associate with good government today. I'm really proud to share his history with folks here and gratified for the interest and responses.

best regards,
Ron
