a minor rant: I'm really tired of reading posts arguing against white privilege [View all]

As most of you know, I'm a middle aged white guy. I've grown up in the South. Holy shit, if you deny white privilege, you are either 1) being willfully obtuse, either paid or unpaid; or 2) you have never ever met a person of color in your entire life or ever read or heard of their difficulties in this country. I think option #1 is the case in 99.99999999999999999% of cases.

If I'm THIS sick of reading those posts, I can just imagine how AA posters feel.

eta: I'm awaiting the deniers to arrive in CreekDog's thread any minute.
