a minor rant: I'm really tired of reading posts arguing against white privilege

7. I'm a white woman living in the south.

The fact that white privilege exists seems crystal clear to me, so clear that I don't understand how anyone could deny it. My white skin gives me an advantage over people of color and has every day of my life. I am not viewed with suspicion, not ever. If the police stop me, for speeding, for instance, as they have a couple of times, they call me ma'am. Then half the time, they give me a warning. If I apply for a job, I'm more likely to be hired. Probably, if I walked around, waving an assault rifle, the cops would try to talk me down rather than pause 5 seconds and shoot me down and leave me like a dog in the street.
