(34,648 posts)5. Yes, we do need to inspire our base to vote.
Progressive legislation won the day on Tuesday. Our politicians need to look at that and ask themselves why so many conservatives voted for minimum wage.
Pretending to not be democrats and pretending not to know the democratic president was stupid. Many of those races were close, but our candidates sounded too wishy washy. No fight in them. And we need to get younger candidates who understand the lives of Millennials and genXers. Nobody seems to care about us.
