Your post and others proves that our candidates should have stood with the President, and stood up clearly for progressive values. If Crist in Florida had been more exciting, he might have won. He did hug PBO at one appearance a few years ago and caught hell from the Republicans over that. He was too much Republican-lite for we Democrats, so our turnout was not good enough.
