Back in my young'in days, my parents frequently gave me directives ... they did not have to state "or else" because I knew what the consequences of not doing so, were. Apparently, in some quarters, there is a wide belief that the lessons of jim crow have to be re-taught.

On a different note ... I've noticed a few (a lot of) conspicuous absence of comments from some very prominent DUers on this topic. Sadly, this just re-confirms that DU really doesn't believed its own police-state/oligarch talk.
