when I was about 8 or so, in a Creepy or Eerie I found somewhere. It was an adaptation of Lovecraft's "Cool Air", and I was fascinated by both the story and the intricate, atmospheric art -- it was my first exposure both to Wrightson and to Lovecraft. Later I became a huge Lovecraft aficionado and read his work (and gamed it in RPGs) non-stop in my teens and twenties, but only started reading more of Wrightson's stuff recently when I got into comics with DC's reboot.
