We spent ours at 4ColorFantasy in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We got there much earlier this year so we had a two hour wait to get in and get our comics as opposed to last year's four+ hour wait. Increased attendance meant this year we were limited to 7 titles each (last year they let us have 10.) Even after we got our books, shopped, schmoozed, and walked back to the car the line was probably the equivalent of two city blocks long.

Picked up:
DC's Superman: Last Son of Krypton
Bleeding Cool (Hey, I love the website, so I'll give their free mag a try)
Dark Horse's Star Wars/Avatar the Last Airbender and their Fabulous Killjoys/RIPD/Mass Effect
2000AD
Valiant's Harbinger
Bantam Dell's Kellerman/Louis L'Amour western-themed offering.

I also purchased a few trades and some toys for the kids to help the shop recoup the staggering cost of all the books they order. The kids got plenty of child-friendly titles, and we all got an Iron Man Heroclix figure tossed in our bags as well.

My little girl hung out with some of the Empire's evillest;

and my fiancee gave one of her ComicCon cosplay, DC's Zatanna, a dry run while her friend debuted her Arkham City-style Harley Quinn.

There's at least one guy ahead of you. SwankyXomb May 2013 #1
