Movies are a different game since they bring in more viewers than comics fans.

Yes they are. But the character are the same.

None of the reviews of the Cap America movie mentioned WW or any other comic book character active in WWII.

So?

However, in the movies, Cap got there first.

Overall, Wonder Woman got there first. But so? I mean, we could say Batman go to the 'rich guy with toys' before Iron Man but no one is arguing that point.

Like it or not, DC comics is playing catch up to Marvel.

Sure they are. But as a fan, I'm not looking at it as a sporting event or race.
