I'm amazed at how good it is.
I have very low expectations while simultaneously hoping for a certain level of quality, and I have to say that the show has greatly exceeded my hopes.
Terrific pacing, effective writing, solid acting, excellent characterizations, and really good Daredevil-style action sequences.
And beyond all of that, Vincent D'Onofrio's Fisk is jaw-droppingly good. I had set a very low standard after Duncan's unremarkable 2003 portrayal and ( 
) Rhys Davies' failed effort in 1989.
D'Onofrio has remade him into both a very human and very terrifying figure.
