1. Song lyrics

I have a number of poems that I’m working on setting to music. I do have musicians that are working on them also, buy the are into the nu metal genre, and I’m finding I’m more on the track of country or ballads.
You’ll see repetition in these, although the band wants LOTS of repetition and I generally tell a story through my poetry and don’t like to repeat unless it’s for creative impact.
I’m not a great singer, but I now have 7 recorded just with my phone. If I can figure out how to attach them, but they are not especially pleasing to the ear. I will do them all eventually in the studio with the band, but we’ll need to argue over a few. I know they want to do this song/poem above, but I also know they’ll cut a big portion out for guitar work.
