I mentioned I would post an image to verify what I'm complaining about.
I asked why Messi goal wasn't offside?

I was told the ball wasn't sent to the offside player, so thenplaynwas onside

In today's Spain/Portugal game this is exactly what happened.
Player 10 was called offsides when the pass went to Player 22.

Messi goal was onside, the goal counter, because the ball wasn't passed to the Offline player.
Spain was called Offside when the ball wasn't passed to the Offside player.

Messi onside, goal good.
Spain offside.
