I'm frankly tired of the sports media anointing him as the best hitter in the NL if not all of MLB (when Hamilton is busy drinking)..

Cincinnati has a park factor of 1.132. Leading to discrepancies like this in Votto's stats:

Joey Votto SLG:

Overall: .632

Home: .746

Away: .515

He's obviously being helped significantly by where he plays. Something that is often overlooked by fans and media alike. Does that mean Votto isn't deserving of an All Star place?..No, but he'll get there without my help..
