thing is, there's been so much speculation over the years about who the 49ers should pick up as their next QB, I no longer give it a second thought. Alex may not put up numbers like Rodgers, Brady or Brees, but he's doing exactly what Harbaugh asks him to..and that means not losing games. He's only thrown 5 interceptions all year to go with 17 TD, a TD to INT ratio of 3.40....3rd best in franchise history. Plus, he hasn't lost a fumble since Thanksgiving against the Ravens..
