and the city of Cleveland, though it's too bad the city got its 1st championship in over half a century at our expense. They got a bit of a break in the series with the Green suspension and with Bogut being hurt the past 2 games, but today's win was 100% deserved. It was an intense final game, coming down to the wire. Curry, Thompson, Barnes, Varejao, etc. came up small when they were needed most, and Kerr was out-coached by a rookie. It's awful that they didn't come through after being up 3-1 and after having the record-breaking season. I was pissed (and still am) that they lost to an asshole like LeBron, but I have to remind myself that games and series like these are part of the deal when teams contend for championships. All of these millionaire players will party regardless of which side they were on, and go back to their friends and family. The W's are still a great team and will be in the mix for years to come, but hopefully they will gain humility from this, keep the core together, and regroup for the Fall.
