Decided a few years ago that the whole premise behind football was simply wrong. Every play ended with an attempt to hurt or injure. No amount of protective equipment could save players from the long-term effects of playing the game.

Having survived one year of high school football I can still appreciate some of the minute aspects of the game like a well thrown pass and exceptional reception or a deke-filled open field run. These, however, I can do in my backyard or at the local playground, with only a flag hanging from my belt for protection.
