(2,220 posts)13. My husband has the best claim to fame.
His mother was a court reporter in Cleveland, and her best work friend was the wife of Luke Easter. The Easters spent a lot of time with my husbands family so he got to know Luke well. My husband has a baseball from one of the All-Star games that Luke gave him, autographed by Joe DiMaggio among others. Luke was murdered in a robbery in 1979, but his children attended my mother-in-laws funeral in 2014.
