31. The Big O (Oscar Robertson) ate dinner with me--

Okay, it was a big awards dinner, and there were 200 others. But he gave me his autograph and listened patiently as I listed a few of his great accomplishments. (A fan here.

That's about it. Oh, Larry Bird bumped into me once at a Pacers game. He really does always look grumpy, in case anyone thought he actually was hiding a warm congenial nature. (But he did apologize.)
