Ive managed to meet a lot of fairly famous people, especially people in music through my husband, because I have the ability to not act like Im star struck. I once had a wonderful, long conversation with Vince Gill without even knowing who he was. Heck of a nice guy!
I did go a little fangirl when I met Connie Smith, who has been my favorite country singer since I was five. And I declined a chance to meet Rosanne Cash after a show because I was so moved by the show that I knew Id sob all over her.
