It would rob our athletes of years of training and prep, and in the end, no one would remember the US tried to make a political point by keeping our athletes home. It would change nothing.

My guess is that every Olympics has some tinpot country boycotting trying to make some point. And who remembers?

Kicking some ChiCom ass would be more effective.
