So I don't expect getting the jab will make much difference.

He's still viewed as a player in decline and an attention hog (whether active or passive, doesn't matter). The first attribute isn't great for anyone in the NFL but especially a free agent QB looking for a starting job, and the second attribute is bad for a backup QB.

The vax status may have been the last straw, but it will still probably take a team losing a QB (or two) to a season ending injury for anyone to even consider him, at this point in the season. Maybe he should have gotten it in the off-season, if he wanted a job.
