32. I don't think Manning will make it through THIS season.

Broncos miss the playoffs, and Manning's health concerns coupled with diminished arm strength and a new offense have him out of the league by the following year.

For the Broncos, still a "smart" signing for one reason. Tebow isn't "the guy" and he's likely not going to develop into "the guy", but he is very popular in Denver, which means they'd be saddled with him for several years. Now, they can get Tebow out AND still make the fans happy. Before the end of the year, they're already looking for Manning's replacement, but Tebow is gone somewhere else, so they're free to make whatever move they want to.
