Saw my first Sandhill crane up by Lake Auburn in a tributary that feeds into the lake. It was in some tall water grass a distance from the road. Seemed to be alone but the grass was so high the mate could have been off feeding near by.

Lots of birds coming and going. You can hear the calls as a "V" formation of a group of large birds goes flying by.

An American Bald Eagle lives in a clump of huge pines over by the river with a nest way up top the tall - tall pines. You can see the huge nest way up top. We go up to the river with binoculars and it is fun watching them dive and feed on the fish in the river during feeding time.
