I have to take my feeders down for a month or so as they pass through. They will empty two feeders in a matter of an hour or two. Between them and the cow birds, both of which form large flocks, I can't afford the sunflower seeds. When startled the all take off at the same time and it sounds like a 60mph wind gust!
