I just figured out that the large birds flying around my bayfront window are ospreys!

I knew that there was a large nest of them close by, so not a total surprise. But there are also turkey vultures, and I couldn't tell the difference when they flew by. Mine look just like the ones in your pics.

Also have a lot of brown pelicans right now. I'm in Newport Oregon.

Can you recommend a good scope for birdwatching?
