and if Manning doesn't make his decision before the Cards are due to pay Kolb his bonus on Thursday, what do the Cards do then?

Do they pay Kolb, stick with him, and basically give up on Manning?
Not pay Kolb in the hopes that Manning chooses them, but risking having to find someone else on short notice?
Not pay Kolb and figure that they can get someone either in the draft or one of the other QBs out there, Campbell, Orton, etc. as a stop-gap if Manning doesn't pick them?
Or pay Kolb, and still pursue Manning, either paying both, or figuring they can trade Kolb? I can't see anyone giving them anything like what they paid for him.
