I am always tempted to partake in these affairs, reading the Left Behind series, for instance. But given the expressed goal of the makers of this stuff, I refuse to give them any more oxygen than they deserve, which IMHO is zero.

Of course, there is no explicit mention of rapture in the Bible (that I know of). AFAIK, this is a 19th century concoction.

I wonder how many people actually take this seriously. I am sure that I would not like the answer to that query.
