(33,982 posts)27. It troubles me that there is no credible national number.
Some states are massively lower than even the 60's, and probably reflects the utter lack of abortion facitilies, which is another republican/Christian conservative anti-abortion strategy, hence the fight to require hospital admitting privs., etc.
Based on what I've seen, and where I have seen it reported, I still suspect the national number is quite a bit south of the UK.
