Where did I say that scripture is not religious? I didn't say that at all.
I said that he didn't mention god or jesus or anything religious at all. Perhaps I was not clear, but what I meant was that he didn't make a specifically religious statement, he quoted from a religious text. Although the quote is from a religious text, if you did not know that, you would have no reason to think it had a religious basis.
In fact, I think he was turning things around on the religious right, and that's ok with me.
Do you have a problem with what he said, or just what I said?
