I was responding to Warren Stupidity, who brought up the topic.

In post #71, he offers several links to random old posts of mine that have absolutely nothing to do with this thread.

I responded to the second link from the bottom in his post.

The OP title I was responding to was titled "Would you describe yourself as a huge atheist?".

Warren is offering that link as an excuse for you bringing up my wife totally out of the blue here in that thread.

Basically, what happened is I answered the question in the OP in my post #27 of that thread, saying that I do at the moment, but that I am trying to lose weight.

Another poster then asked if I had tried praying away the pounds in post #28.

Then, in post #36, the post that Warren Stupidity linked to, I responded with this:

Good idea, but I wouldn't know who to pray to.

My wife does pray for me, though.

So far, the effectiveness of her prayers has been spotty at best.

I need to talk to her about maybe praying just a little bit harder.

I can use all the help I can get.

According to Warren Stupidity, it is posts like this in old totally unrelated threads that give you the right to bring up my wife out of the blue whenever you want to in any thread no matter what the topic under discussion.

Really, I don't understand why so many folks are supporting this type of harassment here at DU.

It feels like a coordinated effort to push people into the closet.
