(7,579 posts)If it's not parking, then it's increased traffic. Here's a story about a Jewish synagogue that just wanted to upgrade their facility. I made deliveries there. It amounted to no more than adding two small buildings and repaving the parking lot on land they owned. The whole campus still only occupied about 60% of the hillside and blended in with the environment.

A neighborhood squabble over the proposed expansion of a synagogue in Tiburon has turned into a high-stakes battle over religious freedom.
"Over 200 households have signed petitions," said Karen Nygren of the Tiburon Neighborhood Coalition, a group formed to fight Kol Shofar's plans. "It's not just a little group that is against this. We feel this is purely a land-use issue. It has nothing to do with religion."
