and feel non-mutually exclusive about them (though it's always interesting that the rooms set aside for that here never seem to get nearly as much traffic as this one). But to say "I'm me" or "I like Coke better than Pepsi" are clearly not the types of truths that my characterization applies to, or was intended to apply to. And who ever said that just because something cannot be proven objectively, that it's not possible for a consensus to develop over time based on reason and evidence? It can't be "proven" that slavery is wrong, but far more people now would agree that it is than did two hundred or two thousand years ago.
