I'm a pagan. I don't advertize it, but because I'm also science minded, a fair number of people assume I don't believe in "God." As such, I've seen and heard the hate that Atheism gets.

I don't question what the people doing the freaking out believe. Some of them are christians, some are mormons, surprisingly I've even had buddists freak out at me for my supposed "sin" that they didn't bother asking me about.

The christians fit this laundry list best, but almost everyone invested in their mythos gets upset at the people who aren't with it, or worse, not buying into ANYTHING.

Should I fudge the facts I run into during my daily life to suit your preconceptions?
