This winter we have hosted several Catholic confirmation groups consisting of 30 to over 100 middle schoolers. The adults--priests, nuns, and lay people--are very engaged with these young people. As with most denominations, I think corporate religion rarely reflects the reality of local churches. And I think that's a good thing.
