Then a hike, or a nap (lay activities), or a drive. When I was younger we often did some type of outreach/community service. Some Sabbaths we (our church) provides meals for The Table, an effort to provide meals for those in the larger community who are in need.

The local Presbyterian church provides the kitchen/dining facilities, and the various local denominations take turns providing the meals.
