A 2010 poll showed 25% of Britons "do not believe there is any god, spirit or life force" ("don't know" was 5%; 37% believe "there is a God"; 33% believe "there is some sort of spirit or life force"
. It seems reasonable that nearly all of the 'no religion at all' fall into that atheist category; there will be a few atheists who nevertheless gave a religion (presumably they were not currently practising it).
You could argue, I suppose, that believing in a spirit or life force but not 'God' is also atheist; in which case we would need to separate out all the "Christians, but not currently practising" who don't believe in God.
