They asked the writer to issue a clarification, saying that Weinstein's faith background was irrelevant to the story.

I think that All Souls Church deserves a lot of credit for having the courage to host this event in that religiously conservative environment. They are known for taking bold, often unpopular stands for free speech, minority rights, etc. Proud to be an alumnus of the Tulsa congregation.
