When enforcement looks different depending on which flag you're flying, Jewish and Israeli fans are being treated as second-class participants in a tournament meant to celebrate global unity.That's not soccer. That's discrimination.
ADL is calling on FIFA to acknowledge what happened, explain why enforcement looked so inconsistent that day and commit to treating every fan the same going forward. Jewish and Israeli fans shouldn't have to wonder whether they are welcome at a global celebration.“
