..after all thia comes from the "both sides are fine people" group--one being the racist, bigoted self-admitted sexual predator in WH. Sanders is a good man, wants good things for this country...though I fear this kind of behavior will only increase given the hate propaganda not only coming from guy in WH, but from rw hate, racist bigoted television, radio and social media --it is the ugly underbelly of America that has shown its ugly side of America for all the wolrd to see.
For many disinfranchied groups such minorites, lgbtq and women this is something we deal with daily. There has always been say 30% of the population that is hateful and hurtful many times at their own peril--racism is what drives them; fear of the other; changing demographics that will inevitably decrease their influence in society is dangerously apparent--stolking the embers are those mentioned either with propganda or their [gop] complicitness.
When I listen to Sen. Sanders' message..i find that he's been pretty consistent over the years with the messsage of an America that works for everyone--what is wron? I can list the litany of policies he propses and say--well well I'll l be damned Is that ok to say on religious forum? ]
I'm a democratic socialist too! Why? Bc I so dearly want all that and more for my fellow citizens, immigranrs and refugees--people, especially children around the world. Why not want that for our fellow humans
I so want Sanders. Warren to become president to lead us into a new era..in a dramatic way--not just incrementally as moderates would like--I want the hate, bigotry discrimination to stop or at least put back in its bubble that only decades of isolation can ensure its demise. If Sanders is elected, selects Warren as his VP-- I may live long enough to see some much needed changes. Yet, if Biden wins with say Harris as VP change will be incrementa--.in both scenarios decency will be returned to America, rule of law wiil be strengthened and either way will ensured that the next president say in 2024 will be a woman and hopefully a progressive liberal. PS. To all my Jewish friends out in DU land--amor y paz!
