some rabbis decided vaccines weren't Kosher. This nonsense was challenged by most rabbis, but, as too often happens,
the louder mouths carried the day. And it filtered down to Williamsburg and Borough Park..

These are the Satmar, an Hasidic clan, with maybe 70,000 members. They are in the news a lot, but generally get along with their neighbors kinda like Amish get along with theirs. Sometimes there's an unavoidable culture clash, but it usually gets talked out.

Once again, the First Amendment does not let you become a public menace.
