In reply to the discussion: Science - Religion Einstein's thoughts [View all]longship
(40,416 posts)I know pretty much about Einstein from both the physics perspective and from his religious opinions. My college education is in physics, so I understand Einstein from that perspective. And although I have not read all his writings, I do know that Einstein spent a good amount of his life fighting against people who would put words in his mouth on religion. He did not like such things very much since he was decidedly not religious in spite of the fact that invoked "god" in his writings. As I attempted to make very clear, that god was Spinoza's god, as Einstein clearly and repeatedly said.
So I will stand my posts here.
If you have a point to make, I suggest that you express it here, and not by way of some obtuse, unreferenced citations. In other words, you make no sense whatsoever unless you post clearly what you are about, which you have not yet done.
So I will bid you ado until you post something I can respond to.
My regards.
