I know taste testers in the past reported no difference in taste or texture, but no word on whether their usual was the pink slime infused cheap variety. In any case, it's probably most like grass fed beef, which means it will need extra oil if you use it in chile or spaghetti sauce or Swedish meatballs.

I'm not much of a red meat eater, but I'll try the stuff. If it's any good, I'll do vats of Bolognese sauce more often.
