The fact is that like other creatures, humans (usually unwisely) interact with their environment.
You might think of Tiger shrimp like European Carp. Not a native, a nuisance and overall a bad mistake made in a time where we might not have known any better.

Although I believe that we should be extremely careful in how we treat our home, I also believe that sometimes nature finds a way to balance out.
It is just possible that in some way Tiger Shrimp may offset some of the damage don by BP. By this I mean, if we have so damaged that environment that it will never be the same AND Tiger Shrimp thrive their.
Life is better than no life.
Also unlike Carp (uneatable); as the man said, get out the lemon and butter.
